Characteristic of TiO2&Ag0 nanocomposites formed via transformation of metatitanic acid and titanium (IV) isopropoxide

Composite nanoparticles TiO2&Ag0 were synthesized by coprecipitationin a weakly alkaline medium in the presence of various precursors - metatitanic acid and titanium (IV) isopropoxide. Comparative study included analysis morphology (SEM), phase (XRD) chemical compositions (EDS). The formation anatase structures was confirmed at relatively low concentration silver (0–8 wt% for 0–4 Ti isopropoxide). An increase Ag fraction to 8 led appearance Ti2O3 ?-TiO2 phases Ti(IV) isopropoxide system. size distribution primary particles is 8.3–10.6 nm (Ti(IV) system) 12.3–14.0 (metatitanic system). lattice parameters decrease with increasing system do not change TG-DTA showed effects corresponding removal structural water (210 °C), destruction combustion organic matter (300–410 crystallization (510 °C) transformation into rutile (720–760 but silver, structure did 1000 °C. Morphological shows high crystallinity both kinds less aggregative stability composites formed solution. All type nanocomposites include four elements – Ti, Ag, O, Na as well small number admixtures S or Cl K depending on precursor species. At same time, argentum initial solution obtaining chemically pure composite nanoparticlesandcore&shell structures.
